In addition, people who post on message boards are inherently lazy and therefore abbreviate as many things as possible. If ever you see a random string of letters that you just can’t understand, you’ll want to check out the Abbreviations page.
Finally, there are certain posters who are – for lack of a better term – better than other posters. They are more popular on the boards and their opinions are often times deemed more important than others because of their status. Think twice before insulting anyone on the Poster Pantheon page.
